It was great to be a part of the live music at the Omega Project Charity fundraiser evening in Bristol, which raised £5407 to fund a palliative care doctor at a hospice in Romania. The evening was set in the beautiful surroundings of Christchurch in Clifton, Bristol and guests were entertained with live jazz, opera, a delicious meal and comedy by Tim Vine, before an auction which concluded the evening. I've had a wonderful time accompanying the choir of Woodlands Church, Bristol in the run up to Carols by Candlelight, which was attended by about 1500+ people across three services on 10th/11th December. I am next to the sopranos!
Well done to Patrick and Shaun for your ABRSM exam results; passing grade 3 piano with distinction and grade 1 music theory with merit. Great news!
Big congratulations to all of my piano students who took part in the Piano Showcase I organised this evening! I feel really proud of you - well done! My students in Shirehampton, Sea Mills, Stoke Bishop and Cotham gathered to hear each other perform three of their favourite pieces, with an audience of appreciative family members and friends.
