Helen Wilkins is an experienced pianist. She shares a wealth of technical knowledge and skills with her students through giving piano lessons in the North Somerset and Bristol area.
Helen performs live music regularly as a solo pianist and accompanist. She offers a tasteful and tailor-made selection of live music suitable for formal concerts, special occasions or events and weddings. Helen takes special interest in working with the elderly in care homes and developing repertoire to engage those with dementia.
Helen has worked for many years as an accompanist, preparing vocalists, choirs and instrumentalists for concerts and examination work. She is the accompanist for two choirs, and works regularly with singers and instrumentalists for performances and events.
As experienced former Head of Music of more than 10 years, Helen is an eloquent teacher and educator. She loves to teach piano or keyboard and theory lessons to beginners or those returning to the piano. Helen is excellent at offering individual, tailor-made tuition. She is encouraging, friendly and fun, professional in manner and always delivers!
Helen has a PA system and a high-quality, portable electric piano that is excellent for concerts and performances at events and weddings.
She is a member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians and has a DBS certificate available on request.
