Covid-19 announcementThat was really fun and I can't wait for next week's lesson! ...Leo
Prior to March 2020, I taught lessons at my home, in other people's homes and in a school. I also played the piano as an accompanist and solo pianist, performing live music several times a month. How much has changed since then!
Following the announcement about the lockdown, I had to adapt quickly to teaching online using Zoom and other media. Thanks to the resilience of my wonderful students and a good internet connection, it went really well. I care enormously about customer satisfaction and was pleased to find that progress could still be made and that lessons could continue to be enjoyable. Music is essential for so many of us in these challenging times. It is a relaxing and rewarding pursuit, a creative outlet that is stimulating, social and yet individual in pace and particular interests. Some of my students are working on grades, whilst some are learning piano repertoire purely for pleasure. I teach beginners and grades 1-8 piano, as well as music theory and wider skills such as composition and improvisation. Please contact me if you are interested in having lessons. Sending my best wishes to everyone. Stay well! Helen |
Here is one of Helen's students having a piano lesson online at her house. Helen appears on the laptop in the Zoom room!
